United Nations Peace Keepers Federal Council (UNPKFC) distributed food to help impacted and poor communities from COVID-19 crisis on the occasion of World Humanitarian Day 2021 On August 19, 2021 at Wat Benjamabophit, Dusitwanaram Ratchaworawihan (Royal Temple), Bangkok, Thailand
19 August, World Humanitarian Day, as the United Nations General Assembly declared August 19 as “World Humanitarian Day” in 2008 to commemorate the bombing at the Canal Hotel in Baghdad, which 22 UN officials were killed, including the UN Secretary-General’s Representative in Iraq, Mr. Sergio Vieira de Mollo, and wounded more than 150 people.
The United Nations Peace Keepers Federal Council aims to honor those who have lost their lives in humanitarian work, and those who still bring help and relief for millions of people. In addition, to create awareness of the need to support humanitarian work around the world. And the importance of international cooperation in providing those aids enough. Today, the UNPKFC in collaboration with international network partners such as;

These are just some of the aids that has been conducted to survey the surrounding communities, which is similar to the reverberation of Thai people across the country in recent years after the economy was ceased by the lockdown. Due to the government would like everyone to “stay home, stop spread out, for the nation” and “social distance” to urgently reduce the epidemic of Covid 19.
The United Nations Peace Keepers Federal Council (UNPKFC) has delivered food aid to alleviate the suffering of the COVID-19 pandemic. To commemorate World Humanitarian Day of the United Nations for the year 2021 500 boxes of relief meals were distributed, which included essential food items, beverages, rice, dry food and COVID testing kits. as well as rice boxes and water to the victims of the Covid-19 pandemic in such affected and poor communities, including unemployed who have tested positive and are under quarantine.
The presiding of the ceremony was the Most Venerable Phrathepkittivetthi, , the abbot of Wat Benjamabophit, Dusitwanaram Ratchaworawihan (Royal Temple) with more than 79 monks and novices. Before giving Blessings to all participants, His Holiness gave a sermon on the importance of cultivating wholesome deeds, especially Generosity “Dana”, helping the less fortunate with compassion and loving-kindness and he thanked the UNPKFC teams and the working groups who has organized relief activities for those affected in this difficult situation.
Datuk Dr. Aphinita Chaichana, as the chairman of lay people and the president of the UNPKFC said that as a non-governmental organization has collaborated with partners, both of government and private sector and party of the Volunteer Network. It is our responsibility to support and assist vulnerable communities in the fight against the effects of the Corona Virus pandemic around the world as part of our humanitarian program. In the past, UNPKFC has distributed food supplies and has helped the community distribute essential supplies to more than 25,000 families.
And today’s activities are a continuation of our organization’s efforts to help the poor and vulnerable societies. All parties should focus on and cooperate without divisions It’s like everyone is facing an invisible virus war as same as all over the world. The little things that be valuable this time to give people who are facing problems to have encouragement, life and hope in fighting difficult situations with strength, and UNPKFC will continue to monitor the situation continuously. We would like to thank our contributors, supporters and volunteers for making this humanitarian work a success, as well as rejoicing for merits with various organizations who support and cooperate so all activities went well.
Attending this ceremony, it is a collaboration of representatives from government sectors and various NGOs, namely Mr. Soraphongsak Suwanprung, Consultant to the Inspector General of the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Office of the Prime Minister and Advisory Board of UNPKFC, Mr. Dicha Kongsri, Director of Dusit District , Dr. Sathit Kumarn, Honorary Advisor Committee on Moral, Ethics, Arts and Culture, National Legislative Assembly and Vice Chairman of UNPKFC, Professor Dr. Charin Kaniyao, President of the Security Foundation The 1st Army Ariea,Class57 and Vice President of UNPKFC, Dr. Suthat Pengtalung, Senior Director of UNPKFC, Veterinarian Anan Rerkdee, Livestock area in the government department of the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Dr. Lakna Sathantreephop, President of the Mental Health Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage, Mr. Julian Goh, Mr. Raveepat Jirasakwattana, Assistant Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office, Ms. Mareeya Rerkdee, Advisory Board to the Minister of the Interior, Ms. Duangnapa Rerkdee, Ministry of Interior Advisory Working Group, Mr. Ratt Rimteerakul, Advisory Working Group to the Deputy Minister of the Interior , Representatives from the Thai-Nepal Association of Thailand and actors and youngsters participated in this activity.
Subsequently, UNPKFC Representative Dr. Lye Ket Yong, Deputy President of UNPKFC and President of “Hands That Help Humanity, UAE” led another team to travel to Min buri, Bangkok to deliver 50 more boxes of food to relief aid at Masjid Ikwanul-Muttakeen in Min buri to about 50 families affected by the Coronavirus pandemic that is currently under quarantine. By Imam Mr. Lo Saphanvet, representative of Min buri community to receive this humanitarian aid.
On the same day, Mr. Waleed K. Issa, a representative of UNPKFC, brought another 200 boxes of food to the affected and poor in the Sukhumvit area.

United Nations Peace Keepers Federal Council (UNPKFC) สภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพสหประชาชาติ แจกอาหารช่วยเหลือโควิด-19 เนื่องในวันมนุษยธรรมโลก ประจำปี 2564 (Humanitarian Day 2021) วันที่ 19 สิงหาคม 2564 ณ วัดเบญจมบพิตรดุสิตวนาราม ราชวรวิหาร กรุงเทพมหานคร ประเทศไทย
วันที่ 19 สิงหาคม วันมนุษยธรรมโลก (World Humanitarian Day) ตามที่สมัชชาใหญ่แห่งสหประชาชาติได้ประกาศให้วันที่ 19 สิงหาคมเป็นวันมนุษยธรรมทั่วโลกในปี 2551 (2008) เพื่อเป็นการระลึกถึงโศกนาฏกรรมการระเบิดที่โรงแรม คาแนล ในกรุงแบกแดด ซึ่งทำให้เจ้าหน้าที่สหประชาชาติ 22 คนเสียชีวิต รวมถึงผู้แทนเลขาธิการพิเศษขององค์การสหประชาชาติในอิรัก คุณเซอร์จิโอ วีอีรา เดอมอลโล และมีผู้คนได้รับบาดเจ็บอีกกว่า 150 คน
สภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพสหประชาชาติ มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อเป็นเกียรติแก่ผู้ที่ต้องสูญเสียชีวิตของพวกเขาในการทำงานเพื่อมนุษยธรรม และผู้ที่ยังคงนำความช่วยเหลือ และการบรรเทาทุกข์ให้กับคนนับล้าน นอกจากนี้เพื่อสร้างการตระหนักถึงความต้องการการสนับสนุนการทำงานด้านมนุษยธรรมทั่วโลก และความสำคัญของความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศในการให้ความช่วยเหลือเหล่านั้นเพียงพอ และวันนี้ องค์กร UNPKFC โดยร่วมมือกับภาคีเครือข่ายระหว่างประเทศ อาทิเช่น

นี่เป็นเพียงบางส่วนของความช่วยเหลือความเดือดร้อนที่มีการลงพื้นที่สำรวจชุมชนรอบ ๆ ซึ่งก็คงไม่ต่างจากเสียงสะท้อนของคนไทยทั่วประเทศในช่วงที่ผ่านมาหลังเศรษฐกิจหยุดชะงักจากการล็อกดาวน์ เนื่องจากอยากให้ทุกคน “อยู่บ้าน หยุดเชื้อ เพื่อชาติ” และ “การเว้นระยะห่างทางสังคม” เพื่อลดการแพร่ระบาดของโควิด 19 อย่างจำเป็นเร่งด่วน
สภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพสหประชาชาติ (UNPKFC) ได้ส่งความช่วยเหลือด้านอาหารเพื่อบรรเทาทุกข์จากการแพร่ระบาดของเชื้อไวรัสโควิด-19 เพื่อรำลึกถึงวันมนุษยธรรมโลก (Humanitarian Day) ขององค์การสหประชาชาติ ประจำปี พ.ศ. 2564 โดยมีการแจกจ่ายอาหารเพื่อบรรเทาทุกข์นี้จำนวน 500 กล่อง ซึ่งประกอบด้วยรายการอาหารที่จำเป็น เครื่องดื่ม ข้าวสาร อาหารแห้ง และชุดอุปกรณ์ตรวจโควิด ตลอดจนข้าวกล่องและน้ำ ให้กับผู้ประสบภัยจากการระบาดใหญ่ของเชื้อไวรัส Covid-19 ในชุมชนที่ได้รับผลกระทบดังกล่าวและยากจน รวมถึงผู้ว่างงานซึ่งมีผลตรวจเป็นบวกและอยู่ภายใต้การกักกัน
ประธานในพิธีฝ่ายสงฆ์ คือ พระเทพกิตติเวที เจ้าอาวาสวัดเบญจมบพิตรดุสิตวนาราม พระอารามหลวง พร้อมด้วยพระภิกษุสามเณรกว่า 79 รูป และก่อนที่ท่านจะให้พรแก่ผู้เข้าร่วมให้การช่วยเหลือในครั้งนี้ ท่านได้แสดงพระธรรมเทศนาถึงความสำคัญของการบำเพ็ญกุศล โดยเฉพาะความเอื้ออาทร “การให้ทาน” ช่วยเหลือผู้ด้อยโอกาสด้วยความเมตตากรุณา ขอบคุณคณะ UNPKFCและคณะทำงานที่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้อง ที่ได้จัดกิจกรรมบรรเทาทุกข์ต่อผู้ที่ได้รับผลกระทบในสถาณการณ์ที่ยากลำบากในครั้งนี้
ดร.อภินิตา ไชยชนะ ประธานฝ่ายฆราวาส และประธานองค์กร UNPKFC ได้กล่าวว่า ในฐานะองค์กรพัฒนาเอกชน ได้ร่วมกับพันธมิตรในหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชน และภาคีเครือข่ายจิตอาสา ซึ่งถือว่าเป็นความรับผิดชอบของเราในการสนับสนุนและช่วยเหลือชุมชนที่อ่อนแอในการต่อสู้กับผลกระทบของการระบาดใหญ่ของ Corona Virus ทั่วโลก อันเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการด้านมนุษยธรรมของเรา ที่ผ่านมาองค์กร UNPKFC ได้แจกจ่ายเสบียงอาหารและได้ให้ความช่วยเหลือชุมชนได้แจกจ่ายสิ่งของที่จำเป็นให้แก่ครอบครัวมากกว่า 25,000 ครอบครัว ซึ่งเป็นกิจกรรมที่ทำมาอย่างตลอดและกิจกรรมในวันนี้เป็นความต่อเนื่องขององค์กรของเราในการพยายามให้ความช่วยเหลือสังคมที่ยากจนและกำลังอ่อนแอ ทุกฝ่ายควรให้ความสำคัญและร่วมมือกัน โดยไม่แบ่งฝักผ่าย เปรียบเสมือนทุกคนเผชิญสงครามไวรัสที่มองไม่เห็นเช่นเดียวกันทั่วโลก สิ่งเล็กน้อยที่ทำให้เกิดประโยชน์ในครั้งนี้ เพื่อให้คนที่กำลังประสบปัญหา ได้มีกำลังใจ มีชีวิต และความหวังในการต่อสู้สถาณการณ์ที่ยากลำบากอย่างเข้มแข็งต่อไป และองค์กร UNPKFC จะยังคงติดตามสถาณการณ์อย่างต่อเนื่อง และขอขอบคุณผู้ร่วมให้การช่วยเหลือ ผู้สนับสนุน และอาสาสมัคร ที่ช่วยให้งานด้านมนุษยธรรมครั้งนี้ประสบความสำเร็จ พร้อมทั้งขออนุโมทนาบุญกุศลสำหรับองค์กรต่าง ๆ ที่ให้การสนับสนุนและให้ร่วมมือ กิจกรรมทุกอย่างจึงผ่านพ้นไปด้วยดี
การร่วมพิธีในครั้งนี้ เป็นความร่วมมือของตัวแทนจากหน่วยงานภาครัฐและองค์กรพัฒนาเอกชนต่าง ๆ ได้แก่ นายศรพงศ์ศักดิ์ สุวรรณปรุง ที่ปรึกษาผู้ตรวจราชการสำนักงานปลัดสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรีและบอร์ดบริหารที่ปรึกษา UNPKFC, นายดิชา คงศรี ผู้อำนวยการเขตดุสิต, ดร.สถิตย์ กุมาร ที่ปรึกษากิตติมศักดิ์ คณะกรรมการธิการ คุณธรรม จริยธรรม ศิลปะและวัฒนธรรม สภานิติบัญญัติแห่งชาติ และรองประธาน UNPKFC, ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ชรินทร์ คานิเยาว์ ประธานมูลนิธิ รมน กองทัพภาคที่ 1รุ่น 57 และรองประธาน UNPKFC,ดร.สุทัศน์ เพ็งทลุง ผู้อำนวยการอวุโส UNPKFC ,นายสัตว์แพทย์อนันต์ ฤกษ์ดี ปศุสัตว์พื้นที่ในส่วนราชการรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรร์, ดร. ลัคนา สถานตรีภพ นายกสมาคมสุขภาพจิตแห่งประเทศไทยในพระบรมราชูปถัมภ์, นายจูเลียน โก๊ะ ,นายรวีภัทร์ จิรศักดิ์วัฒนา เลขานุการผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี, นางสาวมารีญา ฤกษ์ดี คณะที่ปรึกษารัฐมนตรีกระทรวงมหาดไทย,นายรัฐ ริมธีรกุล, นางดวงนภา ฤกษ์ดี คณะทำงานที่ปรึกษากระทรวงมหาดไทย และตัวแทนจากสมาคมไทย-เนปาลแห่งประเทศไทย และมีดารานักแสดง เยาวชน ร่วมกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้
ต่อจากนั้น ผู้แทนฯ UNPKFC นำโดย Dr. Lye Ket Yong รองประธาน UNPKFC และประธานองค์กร “Hands That Help Humanity, UAE” ได้นำอีกหนึ่งทีมงานเดินทางไปยังเขตมีนบุรี กรุงเทพมหานคร เพื่อส่งมอบอาหารเพื่อช่วยเหลืออีก 50 กล่อง ที่มัสยิดอิควานุ้ลมุตตะกีน เขตมีนบุรี ให้กับชุมชนประมาณ 50 ครอบครัว ที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากสถานการณ์แพร่ระบาดของไวรัสโคโรน่าที่ขณะนี้อยู่ระหว่างการกักกันตัว โดยอิหม่าม นายลอ สะพานเวท ตัวแทนชุมชนมีนบุรี เป็นตัวแทนรับมอบความช่วยเหลือด้านมนุษยธรรมในครั้งนี้
ในวันเดียวกัน Mr.Waleed K.Issa ผู้แทน UNPKFC ได้นำอาหารอีกจำนวน 200 กล่อง มอบให้กับผู้ที่ได้รับผลกระทบและยากจนในพื้นที่สุขุมวิท ดังกล่าว
